Launch programs without your mouse
If you're not keen of using your mouse all the time or want to launch programs from your keyboard, then Sum Launcher could be your solution.
Once installed, to activate the feature, go to the settings dialog box where you can configure how you want to use the program. You can either assign a series of hotkeys or simply select "Use middle mouse button as hotkey" if you're sick of double clicking. You can create different settings and hotkeys for different applications such as games, internet or utilities. You can put the programs you want them to activate inside these folders as well as any document and thus open them quickly. An unusual little addition to this program is a handy reminder which alerts you to appointments and other daily events that you need to remember. The alarm can be set to notify you at any time of your choosing although it's only really suitable for minor and small events because you can't add much event info. However, it is very simple, small and very useful to streamline the process of timing the opening programs or remember appointments.
